DO’s and DON’Ts for 2019

The time of year where resolutions are made, people wanting to make changes in their lives. Some may last throughout the year and beyond, but most fade away after a few months into the year.


Here are some things to consider when making a lifestyle change.

1. Don’t over commit. If you haven’t been to the gym or worked out in a while, why would you try to workout 5 times a week? 
Be realistic. Just get to the gym or commit at least 20 minutes in your day to workout. Start with a 3 day a week conducting full body workouts. Plan ahead and stick with it.

2. Don’t expect instant results. Nothing worth having comes easy. Set realistic expectations for yourself. Focus on being better than your yesterday and don’t measure your progress with anyone else.

3. Don’t get discouraged quickly. You’re creating a habit and lifestyle change so that you can be there for your wife, kids later on in life. It’s going to be tough. Remember your why.
