Even after eating the delicious Filipino food! Believe me, I enjoyed them all.
Thankful to God for allowing us to be with my family back in Cali.
Ella Rose was able to see her Lola and Lolo (Grandma & Grandpa) and her Uncle.
But anyway, back to the title of this post… Here are my 3 steps on how I stayed in shape the past few weeks.
1. 🍽 Eating. It had been 4 years since I was back in Cali. Not gonna lie, I had to get down with some In-N-Out 🍟🍔 , Carne Asada fries, legit tacos 🌮 we don’t have here in the South.
I was using Intermittent Fasting (IF), where I didn’t eat for 16 hours and only had an eating window of 8 hours.
Most importantly, staying in caloric deficit if your goal is to lose weight!
If you’d like to try IF, I recommend this ratio of 16:8.
2. 🤸🏻♂️ Workout. If you’ve following my IG Lives, I started doing 50 burpees a day since January 1st. For the most part, I did this before my first meal (1100am), after only having water and a cup of tea 🍵. Just get it in where you can. This along with some body weight training HIIT, hotel workouts is 🔑 key in fat loss.
3. Finally, realize that the gym will always be there waiting, the experience you will have will not.👊🏽
Being in the military, I’ve been away for many years from those that I love. Those who continue to support me no matter what.
I wanted to spend as much time with them as much as I could.
With Gods mercy, hopefully we’ll get to spend more time together. 🙏🏽
The smiles, laughter and love they all had for our baby girl, Ella Rose was priceless.
Enjoy the time with family and friends, fellow Dads.
So to all the Dads out there, I hope you enjoyed these 3 steps in staying in shape physically and mentally.
Dedicated to your health,
Reden Dionisio
